Giving us your content for translation

For sending your content for translation, click on Translation Management module (WPML->Translation Management).

Click in the checkboxes that you see in the first column to select the pages that require translation. Click in the boxes for selecting the target languages for the translations. Then click on the Add to translation basket button. Go to Translation Management and click on the blinking tab which says Translation Basket, at the top of the page. Once you click on this tab, you will be presented with a list that has all the pages (jobs) which you added to the basket. You will also see the target languages that are selected for the translation. This is where you will be able to verify and make changes to the content you have selected for translation. You will be able to undo any wrong selections of pages that you do not want to be translated. You will also be able to make changes to the Batch name. This Batch name is the one that you will see on the Translation Jobs tab and will help you locate the relevant projects. After everything appears okay to you, click on the Send all items for translation button. This will immediately send all your selected content to us. When all the content in the translation basket has been sent to Translate By Humans without any issues, you will receive a confirmation message, like the one displayed in the following figure: If you want to look at the Batch that you sent successfully for translation, you need to click on Translation Jobs that you have received in the confirmation message. Alternatively, you can also click on the Translation Jobs tab that is available at the top of your screen.

Authorization of your translation and receiving a quotation

As soon as you send your tasks from the translation basket, we get a notification alert. We will then undertake a detailed analysis of your requirement and come up with a quotation for the job. The quotation for the whole Batch will be directly emailed to you.

Receiving translations that are completed

All translations will be performed accurately and speedily. Once all translations are complete they will be ready for delivery to your website.

Delivery of finished translations to your website

You can wait for the automatic delivery of translations or you can fetch the translations manually from your WordPress admin panel, depending on your settings. You can check your configuration settings by going to WPML->Translation Management and then clicking on Multilingual Content Setup tab. Look for Translation Pickup mode section and verify the selected option. The Translation Service will deliver translations automatically using XML-RPC option meaning that the translated tasks will be received by your website automatically immediately after it is ready. The site will fetch translations manually option means all the finished translation tasks can be downloaded manually by you. For this, go to the Translations Dashboard (WPML->Translation Management) and click on the Check status and get translations button that will be available at the top of the page. As soon as the tasks are received, their status will be changed to “Complete” in the Translation jobs tab.

Cancelling Translation Jobs

Even though you will not be able to cancel any individual translation tasks from WMPL, you will be able to delete specific translation tasks or the complete project from Translate By Humans by getting in touch with our Project Manager. NOTICE: We would like to draw your attention to the fact the all cancellation requests for tasks that have been previously submitted should be made immediately because Translate By Humans cannot cancel the work that has already been finished by our competent professionals. You will have to bear the charges of the completed tasks, unless your commercial terms state otherwise.

Returning of the cancelled translation tasks to your website

Your Translation pickup mode configuration will decide how your information will be returned to your website after the translation job is cancelled. It will either be sent to your website automatically or you can get it back manually by checking for cancelled translations by going to the Check status and get translations button in the Translation Management Dashboard. So, if you have selected the Translation Service will deliver translations automatically using XML-RPC option, you will simply have to wait for the delivery of the cancelled tasks. If you have selected The site will fetch translations manually option, it will require you to click on the Check status and get translations button. When a project is canceled by you, it will disappear from the Translation Jobs tab in WPML.
